Don Hall started Hall's Auction in 1980, formally known as the The Auction Barn. It was located in another building in Marshville. A year after being in business he moved to Hall's Auction's current location at 217 North Elm Street.

 

Don and his wife Pat have been working together for over 40 years. Hall's Auction is a family ran business and through the years all of Don and Pat's children have worked at the auction at one time or another. Although, only one child went on to follow in his fathers footsteps , Danny.

 

Danny Hall has been an auctioneer since he was 18 years old and currently is running the business.

 

Hall's Auction has seen its share of changes over the years; styles of furniture, needs of the public due to the changes in the economy and many other things. Yet one thing has stayed the same, our family's goal to serve the public with the supply and demand of the auction business.
